Produced in the province of Modena, from the Grasparossa varietal. This frizzante wine is deep ruby in color, a violet light froth with an edge of the same hue. The notable bouquet is fruity and fragrant, bringing to mind flavors of fresh cherries, juicy raspberries and fully ripened strawberries.

 

Premium Langhorne Creek Shiraz grapes were blended to produce this richly flavoured Sparkling Shiraz. Sweet berry fruit flavors and liquoring have combined to produce a great colour and depth of flavor. To be enjoyed with turkey, duck, red meats, or simply by itself

 

This wine sparkles as a well balanced blend of predominantly 3 year old Shiraz, aged in old French oak barrels showing wonderful smooth integrated fruit and a rich weighty texture across the
palate. A touch of younger vintage Shiraz is added to the blend bringing ripe juicy fruit characters to the finished wine..

 

Elegant, with full fruit and strong Shiraz varietal character, Rumball has a soft, smooth palate and is a great wine to complement fully flavoured foods. The Coonawarra Shiraz gives the palate a long fruit finish with a roundness and depth to the middle palate. Try this wine with roast duck, kangaroo, buffalo and quail. Or as an alternative, with strong cheeses such as Stilton, Blue Vein or Parmesan.

The fruit comes from Old, head-trained vines (some exceeding 100 yrs) truly remarkable plant material in vineyards dating to Roman times.The wine is opaque and purple-colored with a nose of jammy black cherry and blackberry fruit, truffles, tar, and spice. Warm and rich in the mouth; the ripe fruit is well supported by the depth of the structure.
