 Bloody Good Wines!!!
Vampire Cabernet Sauvignon
& Merlot
Paso Robles, California
Grown in the Paso Robles region of California's Central Coast, the wine is small-lot fermented and then aged with both European and American oak, giving full expression to the rich varietal flavors in this wine.
The Cab is judiciously blended with small amounts of Merlot for softness, and Syrah for added structure, and displays ripe flavor characteristics. Ideal for grilled steaks and chops, or with rich red pasta dishes.
The Merlot has subtle shadings of vanilla and toast from the oak aging and at the completion of the aging process, this Merlot was carefully blended with 8% Cabernet Sauvignon for added depth and structure, as well as 8% Zinfandel, which adds a spicy note on the palate.

 De Lisio "Quarterback"
Red Blend
McLaren Vale Australia 2005
I met Tony DeLisio or as we nick named him, big Tony "D", in my trip to Australia this past July. Tony is hoot and makes luscious wines, and even though his Quarterback is a tad over 3000 cases I just had to make an exception. Tony is a big American football fan and this wine is his homage to the sport, a 30% Shiraz, 27% Cabenet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, and 21% Grenache blend. It's aged in mostly old French oak and the deep ruby/purple-tinged wine reveals notions of new saddle leather, black currants, licorice, and spice box. Full-bodied as well as elegant, restrained, and Eurocentric in character. This is a "Kick Ass" kick-off wine to be enjoyed while watching the game.

 2005 Project Happiness Syrah CA
Well-extracted, with huge flavors of black cherry,
blueberry, coffee, tar, spice and herbs. Its robust tannins suggest age-ability, but it's so ripe and sweet in fruit, itıs exciting to drink now. A nice match to lamb, steaks and hearty fare.

 Berger Blauer Zweigelt '06
Kremstal Austria 1 liter
Oh I know you won't believe me, but wines like this remind us of how wine should be. Again perfect charm and fun yet you don't sacrifice a bit of length, body or stylishness;
there's almost a Meunier note here, along with blueberry and currants; soft integrated tannin. You want not to "drink" it but to SLURP it. This is a great party wine and perfect backup for when unexpected guests show up.
This wine was a direct import special, we ordered 10 cases and no more will be available till next year. We highly recommend case purchases. First come first served.
